Many first time Bulldog breeders do not realize it, but whelping and initial puppy care for Bulldogs is an around the clock job. First of all, a caesarean section is required to deliver the pups (current stats indicate that 95% of Bulldog births are via c-section).

Once the pups are born, they require hand help when feeding. This requires 24-hour supervision during feeding. In addition, the bulldog mother may accidentally lie on the puppies without realizing it, resulting in suffocation o the pup.

At Master Bulldogs Miami, we understand that whelping puppies is often one of the most stressful experiences for dogs and their owners. There are countless things that can go wrong when whelping a litter of puppies, which is why an expert pair of helping hands can be a source of reassurance.

We take care of the puppies from the moment of delivery, going through the entire lactation process every two hours for three weeks, then they go through the process of adaptation to more solid food such as yogurt and porridge, after that they go through wet concentrate and until the 45th day that the client has to take them to their first vaccine and continue with their care until the 60th day when the second vaccine is given and a health certificate is obtained, dewormed, microchipped and that way it can be delivered to its owner. That service is worth $3,500 for 45 days of litter care.
