Artificial Insemination: Master Bulldogs Miami experts in insemination for English and French bulldog, that can be done in our facilities for your convenience. We have 3 types of insemination according to the client’s taste and requirement or based on the number of progesterone or the female’s ovulation day.

Progesterone Testing:Â The first thing we do when our female has her period is take a blood test. After that we use a state-of-the-art veterinary progesterone machine to assess the female’s exact day of ovulation and the approximate day of her delivery.
Semen Analysis:Â A quality canine semen is characterized by having a large number of sperm and very active. The sperm are responsible for fertilizing the female’s ovum, although to successfully reach the target, the male’s sperm must be in top form. We determine the quality of the dog’s semen through the microscope, assessing aspects such as whether the number of sperm is sufficient, their degree of activity or movement, as well as whether most move in the same direction.

Ultrasound during pregnancy: The counting of the days remaining to give birth is done according to the last mating, for these cases ultrasound is a great option, with this study we can evaluate the puppies in terms of development, heart rate, movement, etc. And the gestation time can be calculated in order to be ready to properly receive the puppies.
The gestational ultrasound can be performed between days 30 and 35 not only to ensure that the dog is pregnant but also to know the approximate number of puppies.
Refrigerated Semen (price based on the stud you choose plus a shipping fee): It requires perfect coordination between the owner of the female and the male, since once refrigerated its shelf life is only a few days.
Once we know that the bitch is at the right moment of the sexual cycle, thanks to the quantification of progesterone, semen is extracted from the male, mixed with the extenders that will protect the sperm cells from temperature changes and that they will feed them, they are refrigerated and placed in special kits that will keep them at that temperature during their transport by express courier. Once it reaches its destination, it warms up and is inserted with a probe deep into the female’s vagina.

Cesarean section: In most cases, French and English bulldog puppies must be delivered by cesarean section (C-section). This is due to the unique anatomy of both of them. With their large heads and ample chests, puppies often won’t fit naturally into the birth canal.
